Registration for HKT 2019: Bozeman will open on February 1, 2019. In addition to the symposia, participants will be able to register for one or both of the optional pre- and post-workshop field trips. Registration costs include the fee for reserving the venue, supplies, three lunches and coffee breaks, a gala dinner at Bridger Bowl Ski Area, and an icebreaker reception at Museum of the Rockies. Registration does not include lodging, though there will be an option to reserve a $30/night room in a Montana State University dormitory. The pre- and post-conference field trip registration includes lodging, food, transportation, and supplies (i.e. it is “all-inclusive”). Field trips are limited to 25 participants each on a first-come, first-served basis.
We anticipate being able to offer up to 20 stipends to students, early career researchers, and scientists from developing nations. Recipients will be selected from an online application that will accompany registration. Due to restrictions on foreign travel expenditures, international applicants will be eligible to receive up to $500 whereas domestic applicants will be eligible to receive up to $1000.
